#1JUANstunna
I'm looking for pics of stock lightened drag frames. I'm going to start cutting up my extra frame for my drag bike. I haven't raced in about 8 years so this should be interesting. The last frame I did, I cut out and replaced a bunch of stuff with chromoly. I'm not sure if I'm going to that extreme or not. Any pics would be great. Forgot to say that I will be running 300 ft. mainly dirt.

#1JUANstunna
Thanks for the pics. I have some ideas of what I want to get rid of but I want to maintain some of the strength since some tracks aren't groomed as nice as others. Also what kinda weight we talking on a lightened frame? What is the weight of a stock frame?
#1JUANstunna
Someone else has to have some pics of lightened stock frames before everyone went to aftermarket frames. Come on guys help a bro out!
jsn210
Mine looks like above, but with stock subframe. 38lbs
kolb02
Here is a pic of mine in my sig! The frame weighs in at 36lbs, the hole bike with full tank of gas weighs 299lbs! And this thing is a duner, I ride it to all the sand hills which can be 8 miles in and 8 back. You can get them a lot lighter than this if you want to. It also runs constant 4.4's on gas in the 300ft made of all sand.

#1JUANstunna
Just lose 10 lbs and there is your weight saving..... I'm already at jockey weight, 140lbs and 6ft tall. If I lost 10 lbs I'd look goofier than I already do.
