it is a very pricey build.. there is a ton of work needed on the stock cylinders to make it work with a 64mm stroke.

Exactly. A 7mil is as big as readily fits in a stock cylinder. This is one of those things where if you gotta ask, you aren't gonna build one. There also was a thread just recently about this.

so if i didnt ask, i would build one?

i read that thread and it didnt say anything about having a positive deck height, resleeving, or welding some king of ring and that was after i bumped this thread. i think it was you talking about secrets to make it work. not very informative.

I would call Tim@titan racing.... I think I heard something about a new sleeve/head he was working on to accommodate a 64mm stroke....I don't think it's for everyone price wise, but for someone that really wants to hide what they have,it would be perfect... All the stealth cylinders out rite now(wampus/Vito's under cover/Athena) are all super easy to spot as aftermarket...

I've built quite a few of them. CPI sleeves are good head doesn't always hold o rings so well. With the kit, machine work, port work..... It is not cost effective compared to a cub. They can run very well. If you do one start with perfect cylinders. There are no room for helicoils on stud holes down the road. CAM

so ya go and spend thousands building a 10mill stock cylinder motor.... go out make a few passes on it and not a single person will believe that its a stock stroke motor.... save yourself the head ache and cost and go with a cub etc....

Not trying to hide its "stroke" but, that it's a stock cylinder.... No one has to know how much you spent on it, but I bet you would be upset seeing a "stock cylinder beat your cp cylinder, lol....cp cylinders out of the box are quick, but it gets old racing the same 421's at the dunes. I love seeing the fast stock cylinders running good out there personally.....
