Complete Custom banshee

just throwing it out there. i dont need to sell and riding season is around the corner . i just want a 67/68 camaro project. so trades are considered. ive got well into the teens on money invested . i know i wont see it back so im keeping my price firm at 8k.

 

i bought this banshee in 08 in great shape and completely rebuilt it from the frame up with the best parts. parts list

 

wicked +2+1 a arms (chromed)

jj&a play axle (polished)

arched ladder swing arm +6 (chromed)

hjr 4 mil cub motor with 1-5 dunable override and lock up clutch (polished)

39mm pwk kiehn carbs(polished)

works triple rate front shocks(powdercoated/polished)

racetech rear shock (powdercoated/polished)

custom rear subframe by stellar(chromed)

shearer in frame pipes(chrome)

22x11x8 10 paddle bead to beads tires

 

 

thats just the major stuff and there is tons more little things i dont know where to start but here is the thread of the build and pics .

makes 90 rwhp on 100. very reliable less than 10 hrs on new 421

I don't wanna sound like a dick, but there is no way you will get $8,000. Just might be able to get someone to trade some camaro goodies though.

 

My biggest concern is the fact that your ported 4mil cub only makes 90hp on 100oct. "WHAT THE F**C CHUCK?"

 

Bike is nice though, just be realistic, it is your love that your lover loves to hate no matter how much you love it. You spent that kinda cash to ride with a grin that goes ear to ear and a hard on that won't go away! Face it you're stuck like the rest of us and you will cry the day you do part ways with it. Think it over man, or get bit and build another.

Yeah $8,000 is not very realistic. (Of course every time the end of a season comes around alot of guys put their stuff up for sale at an inflated price hoping they will find a sucker so they don't have to pay storage.) But seriously, that bike looks very nice. But I bought almost twice the bike for $7,500 and the seller ate the shipping. The markets tough. We all know what you have into it, but your not even going to get 50 cents on the dollar. Even parted out, your going to take a big hit. Why not keep it? It is a very nice looking ride....

i figure ill have a better chance selling it to someone looking for a reliable ride for the winter . im not hurting at all to sell so i wont . ill enjoy riding it through the winter until its sold . im not firm on the price and would really rather trade for a sand rail chassis , or gen 1 camaro goodies.

 

 

thanks for compliments on the bike , the port isnt crazy and this was a out of the box pull straight from hjr . im sure i can make a bit more hp out of it .

 

what are the 4 mil cubs ( 22c domes iirc ) making on gas with mild dune ports now a days ?
