NOS_350x
Has anyone tryed this? Im parting out a trx250r and im thinkin of keeping that stuff to get the better brakes for the flattrack bike. My biggest thing is that i would have a honda front bolt pattern then. I want to keep the Yamaha because of the rims i already have. But has anyone done this before??
trickedcarbine
The only way I have seen the honda stuff on the front end of a banshee was when it was a leager pro trax front end. Even the hubs were honda bolt pattern. Weird, because i thought the leager frames still ran banshee spindles. The lonestar outlaw can run banshee parts though. Maybe you can see if there is a good aftermarket hub manufacturer that has a honda hub with a banshee style pattern. Chances are, problably not though, most of the hybrid stuff out there is for honda pattern. In my opinion, sell the honda stuff. Get on ebay and pick up some yfz450 calipers for better braking. There is a newer write up on here somewhere, as well as an older write up. They almost bolt up with just a little bit of grinding to the inner shields. Better be ready for an endo or two before you get used to them.

Im sure that i have see guys with honda spindals on a banshee a-arm, but i could be incorrect.
camatv
ihave 250r front calipers on my LSR outlaw with front hubs that are banshee pattern BUT i am sure they are one off's/.. if the YFZ calipers will fit on the ban spindles thats the way i would go i would consider the rear end off the 250r because of the simple brake nut and less parts overall.. the rear brakes work great also. by the way the 250r front brakes with braided lines and ban master are a one finger lockup. and its sweet i can modulate the brake power with one finger and stillhave most of my hand on t he bars. the more and more i ride this chassis the more i love it. NOS_350x
My actual problem is right now the mounts on the spindles for the banshee calipers is bent. And my brakes will not lock up now with the amount of lever travel with it mounted to the handlebars. Both mounts on each side are bent. I dont get it. So i figured i would look at different options. Cam want to sell those front hubs lol. I am definitely going to look into the YFZ setup.
