That would be Mr. Calvin Pollet owner of CP industries and the make of all the cheetah, cubs, and other cat cylinders that you are referring to as an idiot. I have to agree, Serval cat sounds lame. Maybe Tom-Cat... If these cylinders are cats, what are my stockers... kittens?? LOL i guess so he has a ton of cats out there and more to go cheetah cheetah cub caracal sphynx scimitar liger serval sabertooth cougar panther wompus puma and prolly more that im forgetting lol
RZBansheeMan
I can't wait for more pipe comparisons on these along with prices. I'm also very curious as to how well the CR 500 Liger runs, I would almost have to bet better then the Sabertooth.
wesw
andy any chance you have a 421 cub dyno sheet with a similar setup. gas carbs, pipes, etc and one thats almost similar to this new serval setup. just wanted to see how much each cylinder has power and broadness compared to each other. to the guy worried about cat names just think soon he might use dog names dauchsand will be the one to get. trickedcarbine
Man, these are gonna be revolutionary! I was just talkin to Matt Shearer about these cylinders. These will be the hot ticket for guys wanting a broad power band with out sacrificing power it self. Way more down low then a cub yet just a fraction is shaved off the top. The release of the several cat is the only reason i didn't go through with buying a twister small block. They would be perfect for my ice bike. RagunCajun
Any chance on a power valve set up?
dajogejr
Highly doubt it... Just in my opinion...so take it for what it's worth. PV setups are a LOT more pricey, and these are...so far...exactly what people want out of a set of stockers, bolt on. More power, not all on top...and a much nicer curve/range. Power Valves put them out of reach of the price range for the intended customer, IMO.
RagunCajun
Very good point. I didn't think of that.
No Limit Powersports
No there will not be a power valve setup. PV are used to give a high exhaust timing a lower timing for a bottem end grunt, these cylinders are already low. Lowering them another 10* would prolly hurt them more than help them. The cheetah is already available and is too pricey imo for the guys looking for this type of motor. Dave hit it on the head.
