Yes you must PRE MIX the fuel with the oil....... Banshee420John Posted August 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 thanks guys, i just traded my lifted jeep for it and asked every other question except for......... can i run vp race fuel on a next to stock machine? it has fmf fatty pipes boysen reeds, jetting and a slight over bore, not sure what size over bore but im guessing the next size up. Not sure what you know about fuels so don 't freak out if you already know this.....but higher octane fuel actually has a more controlled SLOWER burn. You don't need to run race fuel unless your compression is really high. and No.....running a high octane fuel does not make your quad run faster. Banshee420John Posted August 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 (edited) cool, i just thought id ask cuz i have a couple gallons of VP left from my jeep (4.7l stroker) it was high comp running 40. over chev pistons and 2.02 ls1 intake and 1.60 exhaust ls1 valves and ran like shit on pump gas, i am just premixing with premium. maybe next spring ill have a high comp stroker in my banshee, just had it for a couple days and am already wanting more power, not that it doesnt already have some. more is always better.
