cable
I just picked up another shee.. o2 all stocked out. and i was wondering if anybody has put a swinger of a different quad with minimal modding. such as yfz style or 250r? i am sick of the slop and old school adjusters. i have access to may stock style parts and would just rather swap than spend the big greens on a aftermarked round tube style.. if anybody has done this or tried and faild. lol anything would help. thanks
So Cal Suspension
I just picked up another shee.. o2 all stocked out. and i was wondering if anybody has put a swinger of a different quad with minimal modding. such as yfz style or 250r? i am sick of the slop and old school adjusters. i have access to may stock style parts and would just rather swap than spend the big greens on a aftermarked round tube style.. if anybody has done this or tried and faild. lol anything would help. thanks I know the 450's use a two piece pivot tube, so those won't work. I think the issue you will have with using a different bike's swinger, is the alignment of the sprockets. You can find used aftermarket swingers for pretty cheap. They pop up here quite frequently, just watch the for sale section, or post a wanted ad.
Powerstroke
I noticed swingarm shop on ebay is doing roundhouse swingers at a good price. As Matt said you can find used pretty easy with a little patiance. Edited August 22, 2010 by Powerstroke
madjimmax
Just get something with a round house as said before and you'll be golden. I bought an Alba chromoly +4 with a round house and it was on of the best thing that I've done to my shee.
STINKYDELUXE
it was on of the best thing that I've done to my shee. I always thought about it but more horse power seamed more important but now that I have a round houseing I will never go back, even if I bought a stocker.
