So Cal Suspension Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 so wanted to know whats the very best all around pipes i heard rockets are very good but they dont have even 1 in stock all messed in the company i called today but then how about cpi in frames sum feedback plzz guys This is like asking what type of women you like. LOL. My opinion, for best "all around" pipes, you would want a mid-range pipe. Maybe something like I dunno... old school FMF signature series? Currently for sale for $200 shipped. LOL. All different type of FMF's are popular, T5's probably take the cake in popularity. Mainly just personal preference, really. Quote
alf44 Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 You cant go wrong with the tried and true toomey t5's. New or used there a great all around pipe. Quote

But I agree with you FMF is a good all around pipe thats affordable for the average joe but from what ive heard Toomey T5s are the way to go for bike that have a good amount of aftermarket parts.. bbcmudtruck Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 Yep, contact Borrink and get a set of R2s if you want some Rockets. I'm not sure how a set of Rockets would compare to T5s on a stock motor, but on a ported motor, the Rockets blew the T5s away. I switched from a set of FMF Fattys to T5s because of all the rage at the time and didn't like them. I'm sure the T5s are a good pipe, but I liked the FMFs better. The Fattys seemed like they pulled harder in the mid and came on alot sooner than the T5s. Plus the chrome on the T5s I had was kinda shitty and the mounting tabs on both pipes broke off. I'm just not a huge fan of the T5s! For a good all around pipe, try out some Pro Circuit Platinums. Quote

banshee67 Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 for an ALL AROUND pipe i f your keeping it stock go with the t6. if not then the bad ass fmf some t5s or even pro circuits, these are just my opinion for an all around pipe with decent mid range hit and balls to the walls top end Quote
