TIM LUTZ
Are these inexpensive baskets any good? Got to be better than my stocker with like 3/8" play in the cushions. I know a lot of you run the Magnum. Don't think either comes with bolts or cushions.
okbeast
No experience with the Vortex, but have a buddy running a Magnum with no issues. I believe it came with new cusions and screws too to slap the gear on it.

jbooker82
Jeff at FAST sells a magnum basket at a good price. He sells a lot of them with no problems. Give him a call. I run a hindson because I got it for 115 bucks new. Other wise I would be running a magnum.
Ruko
I have a Vortec in mine. I have had it for 4 years now with no problems. I took it off last year to change the gear and it still looked brand new.

dajogejr
Magnum all the way. I might replace mine after this year because it's been in use for over 5 years and I feel bad for all the abuse it takes. Yes, it comes with everything you need to install it including back plate, set screws and cushions. You just have to drill the rivets out of the factory basket to get the gear off. Tedder
For sure Jeffs (FAST RACING) Magnum baskets are a great buy. Heres an HQ link of some recent basket comments. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=133868&view=&hl=&fromsearch=
bbcmudtruck
I'm running a Magnum from FAST and it seems to be holding up well. There isn't any grooving or excessive wear. One thing I did notice though is that the cushions seem like they are wearing out a little too fast. I'm not sure what would cause this, but its sure happening. With the luck I have with motors, its probably an isolated incident and noone else will ever have it happen to them!
