sheefreak
I would say definately. You are definately affecting case volume w/that much spacing. If you are trying to clear your carbs then just put the spacers after the reeds and it shouldn't affect much that way.

madjimmax
Unless you need them to clear the carbs and the clutch arm, you should just toss them. IMO
06specialedition
Unless you need them to clear the carbs and the clutch arm, you should just toss them. IMO X2 ditch them unless you need them to clear larger carbs

Snopczynski
Spacers add midrange power when you space out the reed. You go too far, and it increases the crankcase volume quite a bit, thus not making the cycle efficient. Regardless of what it does, running spacers on a motor with cpi's is going in the wrong direction.

So taking out those spacers and putting in say 3/8 spacers would be better for the engine? i looked at the carbs and they will clear the clutch arm if i was to move them up.
