Sandfrk33
I run 15t on both of my bikes. Works great for a little extra speed. If you have a case saver, make sure it will accept a larger sprocket.

Sandfrk33
As long as you have the power to pull it, I haven't noticed any issues. Plus you can pull each gear a little longer. Cheap mod, play around with different sizes to see what you like.

RagunCajun
Well what kind of race was if? One to see who Has more mph? With a 15t front u will accelerate slower making your bike not as quick in a drag race. But yeah you will get more mph in each gear and all the gears will last a Little lOnger. J-Madd
15t should be fine for that. Don't go to a 16t on a non ported motor, though. It takes it a long long way to top out (if it even will.)
RagunCajun
yea it was to see whos bike was faster overall and they both beat me by like 2 quad lenghts lol it sux Then that would be a no on who has more mph since it was by two lengths and no X amount of mph. Set up can go a long way. Gettting off the line better can make up a couple lengths on the big end if it's to a set distance like 300 feet. I personally wouldnt go with a 15t front unless you have smaller than 20" tires. But hell, sprockets are cheap, cant hurt to try it
Jereme6655
ok so when you two crossed the finish line were you keeping up with him......like as in were you two going roughly the same speed but he was 2 bikes ahead? or was he still pulling away from you hard when you crossed the finish line? is he a smaller guy than you? what mods do you have? and what did he have? if you were goin roughly the same speed but he got you outta the hole then setup can DEFINTAELY help you with that... J-Madd
When we used to race like that, you just basically kept going until it stopped pulling. Whoever was ahead then was the winner. NO skill involved in that way. Hole shot didn't matter much; just seeing which bike was the fastest (not necessarily quickest.) That sounds like what he is doing also.
