ele Posted August 4, 2010 Report Share Posted August 4, 2010 Well I got my first banshee yesterday, I traded a kfx400 for it, had to get back on the 2stroke side, and well I know nothing about the banshee, mines a 1999 all stock besides full fmf pipes, and it dont have a key? do banshee have keys? and somehow I burnt the throttle cable in half riding it yesterday too lol, and the dude told me it had 5 gears and well i got looking around and it says it has 6? i think 6th is out of it, thats why it said it had 5, imma have to work on it alil, to get it up running right, but are they anything i should know about the banshee? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Banshees will be good to you, as long as you are good to them. Check out your jetting and make sure it is in line with your mods and location. And congratulations on the new Banshee! Yeah you should have 6 gears and you might have a key still wired (i found mine zip tied under the radiator cover). I made a bracket and moved it under my seat right behind my gas tank so I could still use it . DEFINITELY check out your jetting, even if it seems to be running well.
