Soooooo... how are them 16/18 paddle staggerd extremes 24"/78 roll out working? maybe 14/15 rippers would be better? Funny how you built a bigger motor then what you planned.. but.. some reason your using less tire then you "narrowed it down to" lol hmm.. what tire you running now?? and what tire did i suggest for your lil 611??? Yah.... I wouldn't have a clue on what tire to use... LOL

fouledout, yea I needed a starting point just like loco's needing. I never said I was an expert, just GIVING MY OPINION (read the last word in my first post) And I did take your suggestions into consideration, but don't knock my opinions when iv'e "learned" about them with a similar machine.

Ha, I see you're a "paddle god" as well as a comedian now eh? Funny that you're referencing the 16 extremes when that was a buddy's tire i pulled my 3.74 with, the 3.77 was with my 14s.shoothead.gif And once again, if you guys would get your eyes out your ass, you would read the post thoroughly and notice key statements that already throws a boot in your comments. Please READ, my 2nd post, 4th line "I COULD ACTUALLY USE MORE TIRE" damn ppl, english must have been a serious task for you...

I'm glad your extensive experience is the deciding factor...never mine the fact fouledout has had his motor for a few years both at the track and dunes....we'll just go on what you think is best....

Show me where I misread anything.. I wasn't referencing your "buddies tires" or any times. I dont know what your talking about. I was referencing your thread and the fact that you "narrowed it down" to 16/18 stg extremes or 14/15 rippers for a 611 with no bar.. lol

 

and if you only gained .03 by changing tires.. then you probably dont need more tire. Sounds like you gained it off the line but lost it on the big end. I've taken shits and gained .03 But.. what do I know.

No way in hell I'd run 16 stg extremes in the dunes.. 14 stg in that ro maybe... even that is alot of tire for the power and would probably have trouble keeping the front down on the launch. 12 stg or 14 straight in a 76-78ro would prolly be pretty ideal.

 

 

And another one bites the dust... You guys just cannot REAAAAAAAAAAAD can you? And you're obviously "claiming" that I started this first when he clearly made this smart-ass reply after I was simply trying to help loco out. Which is what this forum is for in the first place, not teaming up on ppl that do not bow to you or your friends knees, Priceless...

LOL I was referencing the fact that I own 16 stg extremes and there is no way in hell i'd run them in the dunes.. Obviously.. you can't read either since I posted that in this thread. you need to comprehend what people are saying.. Dont try and read stuff into it.. it is what it is..

When you're getting in the 3's it takes alot to gain a few, alot of ppl can tell you that. Taken shits and gained .03? Where do I sign up. And I notice you're ALWAYS referencing "what you know" GENIUS, no pun intended...notworthy.gif

When i was helping you with your 611DM build..

 

We already know you got zero for time in the dunes.

Tyler, maybe i missed it, what RO are your 14's that makes a big difference. Knowing your setup and knowing ls sand i would go with a 78-80 RO and a 14-16 extreme on a 14 arm and htfo lol. I like to over tire and ride the thing. If you only got a 72 RO tire your going to need some serious gearing, which it sounds like you have, and i would go with the 12 over.

I'm pretty sure tyler's haulers are 72ish for ro. I think he told me his motor was on gas. I told him we'd have a slew of tires to choose from. I'll have my 14 and 16 stg extrmes 25" on 9x11's. What ever I'm not using he's more then welcome to run.

I been running banshees on asphalt for nearly 5yrs, been running at LA Dunes in Forest Hills, LA and SandHill Atv in MS occasinally for almost 7, and I have zero time in the dunes, hmmm. You must be a paddle guru, comedian, and a psychic. Ever thought about running for president??

 

I told you my track experience in a pm, wow. And as for dirt tracks, Iv'e only been running it with a passion for about a year with a turnout of having the soon-to-be-official "fastest oem chassis" bike on record. But what do I know...
