fleury_xlt
Hi, just have few questions for you guys : I did a full rebuild of my engine (top and bottom) and I need to know how to put the yamabond 4. Do I put some into the transmission end bearing (do I full the line with some yamabond ? Also forget my Clymer manual, there a little part that I can't remember where It goes, Here the attachement. Torque specification of the clutch springs ? Thanks ! How to apply the sealant? Clean up both halves as best as you can, cleaner the better. Lay a small even bead of yamabond or 1211 on the flat machined surfaces of both halves. No need to apply to bearing, but doesn't hurt to put a little around the outsides of the crank seals and counter sprocket seal. have someone hold the rods and lower the top half onto the bottom and bolt together. I reccomend finding your Clymers. That part in your pic is the clutch bearing retainer. But it looks like only half of one. Broken? torque spec on clutch spring bolts is 10 nm or like 7.3 ft-lbs hope that helps. Good luck
