willygonewrong
A horse hoof trimmer works good for removing lugs, but I have seen people use everything from steak knives to grinders.
matt1
Does anybody have some pictures of grooved Holeshots? Sounds like it could be a good idea to get a little more life out of a set.
jbooker82
You could always make you a tool like a cheese cutter. Then just heat the wire with a toarch. Cuts would be nice and smooth.

bbcmudtruck
Sawzall. You can use a grinder, but thats going to be a giant smokey mess!
Drewski
Sawzall. You can use a grinder, but thats going to be a giant smokey mess! A grinder will work lol, but take it from me you won't enjoy it. All the melted burnt rubber gets everywhere. It turns into a tar and is a bitch to get off of anything it sprayed on. And your clothes......you may as well just throw them away. After your done one tire, there's still one more to go. It's not worth it! bbcmudtruck
this guy makes a tool used for making worn dirt bike tire lugs more square again. http://www.knobbyknife.com/ Thats pretty sweet right there! I think I'm going to pick one of those up.
