extendedbanshee
hey i was wondering if any one has had their banshee die on them when ever it wanted? it will let me ride 2 hours or some tmes 2 seconds, it can have been sitting for a week and start then shut right off and not start or start then die again, or i can be riding all day then it will die half way up a trail and restart or let me go get a tow strap. thanks for the info this is my first time on here
bansheesandrider
I would check all your electrical connections and make sure you have no shorted wires. It sounds like it is losing spark for some reason. One time mine lost spark, I towed it back to the truck, tore everything apart and as I was about to start checking things with an ohmmeter, I found the orange wire to the coil hanging off. I put it back on but it was loose. The spade terminal had loosened up where it slid onto the coil terminal. I was able to bend down the tabs on the terminal and tighten it up. My point here is make sure all connectors have a GOOD connection.
fastbanshee8
Make sure that the TORS box under the left side of the tank is unplugged. If you're unsure on how to do it, use the search function on here, as it has been covered many times.
