A week later I received an empty box in the mail with a note from the post office. Sorry, there was an issue with your shipment. I guess the cylinders ripped out of the box from poor packing. I called ray to find out what to do and he told me it was insured and to deal with the post office. Come to find out he only insured them for $300. Then he had the balls to tell me I should have payed extra. His ebay ad was clear that insurance was included. He didn't pay for the right amount. At least I got 300 back, just not the 380 I payed. Lesson learned. This was a few years before I was a member on here. I still tell my friends to stear clear. Ray, I understand shit happens. But don't keep posting that you will make everything right. I purchased a kicker from him a while back to replace mine that was sticking. The ad said "silver in color, ready to bolt on and go". Well, it WAS silver in color... one side was. It was rattle canned silver, but someone forgot to paint the other side. Hence my comment in my first post in this thread about "rattle fucking canned silver". Not only was it a piss-poor paint job, but the thing was locked up... I went to take it apart, and had to beat the shit out of it to loosen all of the rust. I threw it away and just rebuilt mine. So, I am speaking from experience. I trust Tyler will take the appropriate steps and do what's right. We all just hope that Minkia will stop making excuses, and ultimately stop ripping people off. I've discussed it MANY times in the shoutbox if the topic comes up. Perhaps you should do a little more research before you start spouting off at the mouth. I wasn't EVER going to bring up the kicker deal in this thread, because it's not about my ONE particular bad deal. It's about Minkia's business practices in general.
