frickstyle
How well do the stock carbs feed all that additional space? Do the YZF450 front shocks bolt onto stock A-arms or do you have to buy aftermarket?
jbooker82
Stock carbs will feed it fine. Unless you build an all out drag banshee there will usually always be something holding your engine back.
alf44
The best way to build a mean banshee is to first decide what your riding style is, where you ride the most, come up with a budget and add several hundred more dollars to it, and then open up your wallet and start buying and building. lol. Hit me up if you need anything. Ive got alot of used stuff im getting rid off and can also help you out with new stuff. Shoot me a pm or give me a call anytime. STINKYDELUXE
Buy a used set of pipes After market reeds Timing plate set to +4 K&N Air Filter + outerwear TORS removal kit trail port That will take care of the power. Don't bore your cylinders unless you have to it's not worth the power gains. as far as the handling save your money up and buy a kit with extended A arms and shocks set for your needs. These kits are expensive but well worth the money. You will be better off buying a kit than piecing it together.
Fastassbanshee96
Just wanted a second opinion from you guys before I take the bike in. I took the carbs off twice and cleaned them, replaced all jets (stock sizes), cleaned the whole fuel system out, replaced with 93 octane & Klotz. The thing will fire up with starting fluid, and will run if you keep giving it gas. It will die on idle. I tried all adjustments on the carbs and I cannot get the thing to idle. Also, if you give it alot of throttle it will hesitate and then rev to the moon. I wanted to refreshen it anyways and figured I'd take it to someone who knew what they were doing, as I have limited experience with twin cylinder two strokes. I will try the skull suggestion, sounds pretty sweet... If you haven't removed your tors yet do it. It will more than likely fix your problem. As far as mods. All these ideas sound good. Personaly I would do what it takes to put on a 4mil. You will be happy you did. No 4 stroke will touch it.
