dajogejr
Well...two sides of that coin. Lesnar's chin was never really tested...before Carwin. And Carwin has knocked out everyone... So I get his game plan...and he got served up his first loss because of it. No such thing as an undefeated champ in MMA...they've all been beat...at one time or another. That's one of the reasons we watch it...at any time anything can happen. Now that he knows Lesnar has a chin....you bet he'll work on his cardio a little more, he'll always have knockout sledge hammer fists. I'd like to know what each of these guys weigh on the street when they're not cutting for a fight. Clearly, they both laugh at 265 lbs. Michael Jackson
Picture a cop with one foot on your neck and his gun pointed at you telling you to STFU... Does that help? where in this scenario are my lungs feeding 280 pounds? or perhaps the restriction to my lungs caused by his foot on my neck is feeding the ego of the 280 pound occifer doing so? dajogejr
You said you were stuck on the part where you're supposed to picture your lungs feeding 280 pounds. I was merely trying to help with a visual for you...which, I found quite satisfying I might add, and funny.

dajogejr
Absolutely my pleasure... I could increase the frequency to 3-4 times a day if you'd like. Really, it's no problem at all.
brugal
So dajogejr , your saying his problem was his STRA-T-JERY? Well, I cant disagree with that. He needs to show more patience in the octogon. The guy has bowling balls for hands.
dajogejr
Brugal...yep. That strategy he's had worked on everyone so far, obvious by his record. Add in the fact Lesnar's chin hasn't been tested. He's learned...next fight should be better.
SLORYDER
So dajogejr , your saying his problem was his STRA-T-JERY? Well, I cant disagree with that. He needs to show more patience in the octogon. The guy has bowling balls for hands. That's what I've been saying all along. The dude trains in Denver, so off top he has an advantage when it comes to stamina. He gassed himself because he didn't have the patience to pull back and let lesnar get up. One more good shot on the feet would've been enough after the initial onslaught IMO. They need to hury up with the rematch dangitttt!!!!!!!!!! sandman81
If you would not have ignorantly skipped over the link I posted you would see that their upper bodies "appear" to be the same size. Carwin and lesnar have the exact same sized upper bdy, same sized arms; Carwins lower body is considerably bigger. I believe Carwin wears two glove sizes bigger than Lesnar. Lesnar looks bigger because his neck is thicker You can see their similar size here http://116.ufc.com/ Do i even need to respond. That website doesn't say shit about there upper body. Well there you go. You just proved your own self wrong. You CAN'T train your truck to get better mileage at 100mph. Just like you CAN'T train a 280lb man to go full blast for 2-3 minutes straight. There has to be a compromise. Anyone that size woulda gassed. That comment is just stupid, you compared a machine to the human body.

"appears" for the third time That comment is just stupid, you compared a machine to the human body. I'm pretty sure I was following suit... locogato11283
dudes cardio sucks.
billybobby
Carwin is not 155 sure his cardio could probably be a little better but that was not the problem. He gassed but only because he cracked Lesnar and tried to finish him. All he had to do was stand it back up if he did he wins that fight. Any heavyweight would have gassed doing what he did. His cardio is going to be weak he weighs 260+ and dude is not fat. So he could lose some muscle and power to get better cardio but why he knows what he has to do next time. Sloryder is right I would like to see anyone carry that kind of weight around and go all out for 5 minutes and not gas. Lesnar will lose next time can’t wait to see the rematch and that was definitely one of the best cards UFC in a long time.
locogato11283
what makes you think lesnar will lose next time? carwin gave him everything he had for 5 mins and lesnar came back and finished the fight. lesnar took solid punches from the hardest hitting hw there is and walked away with a win. you think that lesnar wouldnt come into the next fight improved? the ONLY thing that can help carwin at this point is his cardio. lesnar beats carwin again, cain, jds and any other hw the ufc has. billybobby
Carwin has way better standup. All he had to do was stand it back up if he did he wins that fight. If Brock takes him down yeah he will win. I think Carwin will learn from this fight and make him stand up. Sure Lesnar can improve but don’t you think Carwin will as well. I really don’t see cardio as the only thing that can help him. I am 6’1’’ 210 and have a 60 lb weighted vest I run a plyometric class at my gym and we all wear them we run sprints, squat hops, frog leaps etc. It is not possible to go full out for 5 minutes and not gas at that weight. I just did my first Iron Man my cardio is not weak. He is not fat yeah he could probably lose some muscle and have better cardio but he is a Heavy weight. He just needs to change his game plan. No matter what it will be a great fight. I do agree that no one else has a chance against Les in the ufc. I can’t wait to see Jones fight someone good he looks good his only loss was a dq and he was hammering that fool.
