CPI In Frames? just for drag?

Recommended Posts

ARe CPI In frames just for a straight drag bike or can you run them on bike you tool around with on some trails??

Or better off with the PT's? or the like?

Oh boy.... here we go... CPI's lean towards being a top-end pipe, but make decent all around power(for the most part). There are better pipes if most of your riding is in the trails. The CPI's are good for duning, grudge matches, and the occasional trail run...

Hell no I use em for everthing... Drag racing or a sunday stroll with your girl on the back.. They are great all around pipe IMO just come on harder and rev higher than a T5 or comporable choice.

x3

Just think of them as T5's on steroids. They hit a little later than t5's and rev out a lot higher than t5's. They make a good general mid to top end pipe if your ported.

I play around, ride trails, putt around, wheelies, donuts and a little drag racing. Runs like A champ. Before I ran t5's and CPIs only come on a tad later and its not noticeable after a little seat time. The top end pull is nuts.

X5 couldnt have said it better myself. on my stock cylinders i thought they out performed my t5's everywhere. they hit hard and pulled great i loved them. i have since moved on to the new r2's tho. with my cpi boxed up in my house. lol

I will never get rid of them on my dune ported 350, it screams and just waits for you to hammer the throttle lol!

i still havent broke down, and put the cpi's on my dune ported cylinders with the 35 pwks yet to see how they are compared to the regular rockets and r2's. hopefully soon, just got my red shee up and running, after the no spark issue and hopefully ready to go. so i can use it as a comparison also since im running stock carbs, and dune port on it also.
