mjak20
320 mains, and 27.5 pilots, that is, if you have taken the snorkel off the lid. I got FMF Fattys with FMF silencers, Just switched to K&N pods no air box (had stock airbox with lid and K&N last ride), stock carbs, ride at sea level to 500'. Running 240s and 25s now. What do you recommend...I was gonna start at 320 and 27.5 (rather be safe than sorry) Thx Jak
fastbanshee8
With pods, you may want to start with a 340, just to be safe, and use the 27.5 pilots. Chances are, you won't get the jetting perfect the first time, so be prepared to rejet a few times. Those 240s are way lean for your mods, so don't even start it, until you rejet, or you'll probably blow the top end up. I've been runnin' those jets with that K&N, airbox and lid for the last few seasons. I use Dumonde Tech Synthetic mix as well. 40:1. Anyway thx a ton, talk to ya later. fastbanshee8
30 pilots will probably be too rich, but it'll still run. You'll probably foul plugs faster.
