fastquad02blaster
It sounds like an air leak to me. I think that even with tors it would do this too. It could be a stuck slide also. I think that with a stuck slide it would shut off though. Anybody else? Edited June 27, 2010 by fastquad02blaster
ziegman
If it gets too hot and you have carbon build up it can ignite the fuel mixture. Usually caused by an air leak or running too lean.
Scotty
Check the crossover between the carbs.

mercury65
might not be the trouble your haveing but when runing out of gas they will bog while riding and if you stop then idel up high just b4 they die. but as far as pined and not shuting off that might be from what was said above. Phelps
did you check to see if it had gas? sounds like a lean rev from running out of fuel.

It may have been properly jetted before, but once an air leak develops it is getting more air and is running lean. Before you pull the head, I would do a leakdown test to see if you have any air leaks and then pull it down and do a topend job and fix any other problems you have. Corndiddly5885
did you check to see if it had gas? sounds like a lean rev from running out of fuel. i dont see y low gas could keep it from not shuting off wen i hit the kill switch and turn off the key
So Cal Suspension
i dont see y low gas could keep it from not shuting off wen i hit the kill switch and turn off the key It's called dieseling. Google it. It's usually more common in high compression motors, though.

fastbanshee8
Or put it in a high gear, and let out on the clutch, while holding the brakes.
