CFH87
I was thinking of getting a new set of shocks soon and was wondering if these Pro Series Black Widow shocks front and back would be worth a go? I'd like to get the dual rate but what the diff between the dual rate and tripe rate springs? And im rollin on an 87 j frame banshee. Should I just wait to get an a arm frame and get extended arms? thanks Edited June 15, 2010 by CFH87
So Cal Suspension
I was thinking of getting a new set of shocks soon and was wondering if these Pro Series Black Widow shocks front and back would be worth a go? I'd like to get the dual rate but what the diff between the dual rate and tripe rate springs? And im rollin on an 87 j frame banshee. Should I just wait to get an a arm frame and get extended arms? thanks The black widows are a very good shock. You might want to double check with Works, as I don't think they make a stock length for the banshee. The black widows were designed to be the competition to Elka's, or the Fox Clickers. Very comparable and a pretty sweet looking shock. Triple rate is a complete waste. On a shock this short, the third spring only has about a 1/2" of travel before the slide hits the slide stop, or the other slide. Go with a dual rate and you'll be set. CFH87
so the widows would be set up for a longer deal like +2 a arms ?
