made some struts

Well, getting ready for racing this weekend and I had to get some things done quick.

I made up these struts from 1" aluminum bar stock (12.5 eye to eye all around) with 1/2" mounting holes

Took the stock rubberized engine mounts, cut them apart, and welded on 1.125" bar stock with drilled holes for the bolts. I think it should keep the motor nice and secure.

Powdercoated everything shuttle gloss black... If anyone would like some for themselves let me know

On a small motor you may be fine. But on a bigger motor you want them to give a little. Otherwise sold mounting the bottom will break the threaded bosses off.

So the bigger motors you would use rubber underside mounts with a stator cover side support? Either way these bottom mounts secured my motor great :headbang:
