I made up these struts from 1" aluminum bar stock (12.5 eye to eye all around) with 1/2" mounting holes Took the stock rubberized engine mounts, cut them apart, and welded on 1.125" bar stock with drilled holes for the bolts. I think it should keep the motor nice and secure. Powdercoated everything shuttle gloss black...
