kolb02
Just like the topic says! This is the first time with the 4mil. I have done the 300ft drags with some some 4 strokes but not the banshee! What times are respectable for a drag ported, 300lb 4mil?
okbeast
If it's the bike in your sig, and it's setup well, mid to low 4's shouldn't be hard.
kolb02
Yep! It's the bike in my sig. The bike weighed in at 285lb but I don't think it's that light. I think it's setup right, Heavy Mod helped me so it should be good. I think Im going to go to 6 wide wheels to get some more roll out. kolb02
What's your current rollout and gearing? 22x11x8 10 paddles 72 roll out and 15-43 gearing.
DUMBASS
22x11x8 10 paddles 72 roll out and 15-43 gearing. i sure hope your gonna drop the ass end of the bike and lower the front...before u run
shanYE west
yah.. chassis setup looks to be off for 300' track racing.. What shocks are you using? probably gonna need more tire too.
kolb02
Shaws all the way around! When I get on the bike the ride height drops a lot. As you can see the pic is with no rider, it's plenty low when I get on it. And the bike is a dune/hillshooter except the 2 times a year we have the sand drags. okbeast
You'd probably benefit from getting a rear strut, and yeah you'll need more than 10 paddles. They will work, but your 60' is gonna suck.
feelsoright03
Just going to throw these times out there but I think your 1st pass is going to be a 5.1 and your second pass a 4.65. Not downing your bike thats just what I think its going to run. Its a very nice looking bike but I see it standing up on you.

We are at over 3800ft of elevation and are DA gets to 6000ft so it could be a little slower than everyone else. Thats why I run the 10's. We will see tomorrow. I will post the times. kolb02
Here is a video of the the sand drags! The 4mil ran 4.51 all day in 6000ft of air and it poured rain all day and night before so the sand was very wet and heavy.
FASTOYS
Glad your getting to ride it finally. Looks like fun. 4.5s arent bad but definetly should run faster being drag ported, Light rider, and a downhill track! Our 421s have run low 4s w/300lb riders. I figured it was a dune bike.. thats why I said the chassis isn't setup right for 300' You'd be better off running struts.
