There is a formula for determining how they are rated for stoch length a-arms. What is the rider weight they are set up for and what is your weight? Also, what kind of shocks are they and what adjustments do the shocks have?

they are works tripple rates... set up for 180 pound rider i weigh 190 pounds

They are set up for rider weight + gear, so your actual rider weight is probably more like 205 lbs with boots, helmet, and chest protector if you wear one. The shocks are still going to be a bit on the stiff side, but not by much. If you are an aggressive rider they will be OK. Assuming those shocks were valved for the same kind of riding you do, on stock a-arms they are valved for roughly a 215-220 lb rider.

so do you think i should just wait to put the shocks on til i get new a arms?
