Throttle hesitation

Recommended Posts

Ok took the shee to the dunes this weekend. It ran great trail riding but low end has a lag in the throttle. Jugs have been ported and polished, Trinity 2 to 1 carb stock reed cages w/ carbon fiber reeds, fmf fatty gold exhaust. Is this something that a adjustable timing set up might fix? I noticed most shees that are port and polished are +4 timing. AND yes i already know most of you are against the 2 to 1 and im gonna keep it so any answers to fix the problem without replacing the carb set up would be nice.

Has it always been like this, or have you recently added/changed a part .

Also the guys here are probably going to want to know what jets you are running and your elevation

Everything is fresh put the engine together about a month ago this was second trip. The first trip almost burned up a cylinder plug fouled and being new didnt have xtra plugs with me. Problem was carbs i rebuilt rejetted but carbs were wore out. So second run was with 2 to 1 which i ordered supposedly with the right jetting for my setup and elevation. But after reading so topic on trinity cant be sure anything was taken into consideration when sending me my carb. It is a 35mm keihin carb elevation is 3110 ft gonna pull plgs and bowl and see what jets are in the carb. Porting was done by Alba again told them riding style so had a dune port done according to them. Top end kit + port and polish ran 1000$ so i hope its done right.post-35987-12743603882135_thumb.jpg
