porting on a stock cylinder

My friend and I just opende up his 4mill built by clown racing it has a dune port and shaved head this thing never really seemde to run right it should be allot faster for a 4mill dune port and the porting looks really bad i was wondering if you guys could post pics of what a good port looks like i will post pics of the porting tomorow morning

Pictures will do absolutely nothing for you.

What you need to do is measure the timing on the ports.

 

Worst case scenario, if you measured the top, bottom and width of the ports from the deck height someone might chime in and give you a "rough" port timing scenario....but pictures alone will never, ever tell how well a motor should run.

 

It's a math formula, not a beauty contest....

i thought that was what chrome was for.

post some "good" pics of it. wonder if the "clown" that ported it knew anything?

now thats funny come to think about it my drag bikes look like hell. and my trail bikes look really nice i say that if its going that fast you cant even see the chrome so why bother!!
