hey guys i know ur prob sick of this topic but im in a bit of pickle....

ok so i want my next mod to be a coolhead.. there are a couple of different ones (as u all know) Noss head, pro design and chariot..etc

i have seen the noss head and think i want it (anodized black).. but i would like to know the pro's and con's of all of them...

and i have heard the chariot one is very installer friendly (correct me if im wrong)..

in conclusion i wanna know which size domes and which one is the best for cooling, installing and maintain..

i also wanna stay on pump gas and im from downunder so our 98 octane is ur 93 octane.

my mods inc:

stock motor

t-5 pipes

VF3

pro design foam filter

+4 timing

TORS elim

2000ft above sea lv

toomey jet and needle 280 main

stock pilots

120 psi 115 psi compression

please help me guys

really all the heads are about the same you just have to be careful when putting the o rings on.A guy gave me a tip on how to install them i have never had a problem since .If you put a little Vaseline on the o rings then they will stay in the parts and not fall when you are installing them. Also put the dome on the cyl centered and then the base then the stud o rings then the top plate and you shouldn't have any problems just remember to recheck you torque after about a hour of run time.

I think the pro design cool heads suck. You have to get different studs, which mean you could pull the threads out of your cylinder when chanfing them and they don't have the proper coolant flow. They allow the coolant to just shoot across the top of the domes instead of making it go down into the cylinders and up and across. The NOSS is a good cool head,

You would need a 21cc dome to run pump gas at sea level.

i really enjoy my NOSS head and have refered a bunch of peeps to him ( thoo i have never talked to dave directelly) but will in the future as he's cutting domes for a guy that i use for domes..

the pro desing heads i have all came with the bikes i bought and they are ok. i really prefer NOT having to remove the studs

if you read the directions that come with the heads they all say to use grease/ vaseline to install the o-rings makes it very easy..
