clear coolant hose

Recommended Posts

That junk is rated at 150F MAX.

Its like leaving a water hose in the sun for a long time, goes really limp and eventually breaks.

If you "need" clear hose, go with the real deal.

What about the stuff with the braids. That's what I'm using now. I've only gotten it up to running temp a few times and it seems to hold up but haven't had it out for a long period of time yet. Would like to know befor i hit the trails. Also how much does the real clear hose cost.

The braded stuff isn't much better. It is the same hose with string reinforcemnt. It still isn't rated for the temp and pressure that you need. Some people run with sucess. If you cant or don't want to pony up the $100 bucks for the real deal then stick with the stock rubber ones.

Thanks. Good lookin. Yeah I didn't know for sure about that. The guy at homedepot told me it would hold it but obviously he didn't know what the hell he was talking about. I'll probably just switch back to the stock for now so I don't have any problems.
