LostcauseZ06 Posted May 18, 2010 Report Posted May 18, 2010 Well first off I don't appreciate u comming on here and calling me names. What did I do to you. Second I couldn't have gone a out it any other way. I called left message no return call called again and was immediatly laughed at and told to bad. Sound like everyone else that has this problem and wants something for free. I was blown away. Absolutely rude customer service. I would never talk to a customer that wAy. They also lied to me by saying there has never been an issue with there product after telling me I sound like Lke all the others???? I will always try to make things right if my customer isn't happy. In fact I'm still trying to help out a person. Dutch hit me up. I've misplaced your info. Also this is q product review thread and I have every right to post my dissapointment on this product. Did u read the whole thread to see how it unfolded. I'm guessing no. Please don't jump on here and call me names. It's just not cool. sorry man i wasnt trying to be a dick, just kinda a figure of speach? i assumed you were a jerk to them on the phone when they told you about the anti seize. I agree that this is about product reviews, and you obviously had bad customer service. All im saying is you wouldnt have even needed to cal them had you used the anti seize? Maybe you got a grouchy person that had just dealt with 10 other people who misplaced the HUGE labels that say to use anti seize on everything. It happens man. all i know is i couldnt be happier with my experience, and im sorry that yours was not as favorable as mine. Quote
FrankieSquid Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 I think we all agree they include instructions that say to use anti seize or loctite, no pic necessary. The issue is their customer service. I used blue loctite to assembly all nylon insert nuts and still broke three of them because they cold welded. When I called Alloy Boltz to get replacements they treated me like an idiot and pretty much said take a hike. A business is built on customer service and Alloy Boltz has none. x2 everyone is focusing on the wrong issue. okay he forgot to place anit seiz a big fu***** deal we all do it. I bet someone on here just saw this thread and then they did not even know they had to use anti seize. The focus is their customer service, I wouldnt agree more their customer service does suck. People only say they had good expeirience about customer service when they did not have a negative thing to say. But like in my situation I called them about a kit with missing parts and again they gave me the cold shoulder. Alf knows everything there is about customer satisfaction. They treat their customers with complaints and or concerns they give you a big fuck you in the end Quote
Judge1 Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 Not trying to jack your topic but I'm in the middle of a build and need to know about anti seize. Do I need to use this stuff with steel fasteners? What is the difference between grease and anti seize? What about axle and hubs? I used belray waterproof tacky grease on those parts. It seems any after market bolt on comes with stainless steel, like pipe hangers grab bars etc. Should I use anti seize or lock tight on parts like that? Quote
dajogejr Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 To be honest, antiseize on anything you plan on taking apart again is not a bad practice, as long as it's tightened down/torqued properly. I use loctite for things that could come loose from motor vibration. The flywheel nut on the motor and the intake bolts are the first things to come to mind. Normally, when it comes to frame fasteners, antiseize is a good idea. Quote

I only say this because I also broke a large motor mount bolt and when I called she said no problem she sent them out free of charge and she even threw in the yfz450 caliper bolts I needed for free. Who knows maybe she didnt get laid that morning or something. Quote
