locogato11283
Many atv drag builders and some of Banshee HQ site sponsors use there sprockets. So one racer having a problem won't hurt them all at. One racer? Man, you're really not very smart huh? In case you hadn't noticed this thread has nearly 250 views. The thread on ATVDR has over 100. People talk. Just because you're a fanboy of Dee Dee and Sprocket Specialists doesn't mean you should kid yourself about the reality of this issue. If you think they will only lose business from "one racer" you're either extremely naive or very stupid. My vote is for both.

But some still buy want they need. You think Stellar, M&M, Fast Racing and Herr will stop buying there sprockets??. I don't do business with Dee Dee when I call there. Get real fool. I don't care if they will or won't. But for all the individual guys out there looking for sprockets, I urge them to go elsewhere. I don't know who you talk to but she is the manager there. I talked to her and another lady that was very nice. So you're not a Dee Dee fanboy, but you are a Sprocket Specialists fanboy. Makes sense. Plus keyboard racers love reading drama on the sites.. Yep. And keyboard racers buy sprockets too. You call it drama. I call it letting potential customers of a company know that they have shitty customer service and will shit on the little guy when they can. Like I said before, if it weren't for the fact I own this site, I am 100% positive that she would've told me to fuck off and that would've been the end of it. bigborebanshee
From what i have seen i would never do business with them. Any company that does not have enough sense to do what it takes to put out a fire rather than get burned ,does not deserve to be in business. No offense to Loco. Right or wrong it isn't really worth soiling your business over, especially with someone who is that active in the racing scene. Don't reward failure,it corrupts the free market. Many companies that sell atv stuff have bad customer services. I can name one of your site sposnors. But its not worth bashing a business. B/c it won't change anything. I wonder if this is the guy that was selling the $25 walmart lights for 45 bucks on ebay?

Personally, I greatly appreciate the heads up about the customer service. I believe that you can tell a lot about a company by how it solves problems, and treating ANY customer poorly is inexcusable. I decided a long time ago that I won't spend my money with a company that can't take care of it's customers.
Larry's Shee
I don't understand why ATV ASSFAULT is sticking up for sproket specialties. What, is he sucking DEE DEE's puzz ? Why should he give a flipp in hell? Why would they sell a product that doesn't fit "AS STATED" I mean the banshee's ONLY been around for 23 yrs, virtually unchanged (somewhat unfortunately) you think they could have it figured out by now. It would be different if Loco was told up front that some modification was needed.
okbeast
assphalt draggers Go ahead and name the bad sponsor. I'm sure it's a he said she said thing just like most issues are. And if what you say is true "it won't hurt their business at all."
Koolguyson
Had a similar situation with DD when I was making 630 gears for my hayabusa sand rail. I was running a bandit rear, but needed it to have a special ID to clear the hub. They just sent me regular busa gears. When I called them they fussed and whined for a bit, but eventually chalked it up as their mistake and made me new ones. As for my 530's. I now run PBI aluminums and they are great so far.
