Ive only crushed one front sproket, but ive been through 4 chains. ive always had o-ring chains. the 530 i have no is also o-ring. i highly recommend the D.I.D chains and primary drive sprockets. they held up very well for me. terr1bleone
which chains and regular wear and tear or SNAP? the last one I had was an RK before that an EK 520SRX, the other ones I had gotten the strongest the dealership had but I don't remember the brand. They usually pull themselves apart in one launch or second gear hit. Heres a pic of a streched part, theres quite a few links like that even one broken one. It was oiled up at the time, just been sitting in my garage corner for a while. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Newtome03shee
I just had a similar experience with a well know ATV/Dirbike online parts supplier. I had fight with this company over a coupon/cash voucher I received as a gift for ordering allot of products from this company. I recently went to place an order and figured I would use the coupon and found it expired. I sent a few emails and asked the company why they sent me a cash voucher that expired two months after I received it? I was completely honest and told them I had no idea that it expired, I mean I would figure it should never expire, or at least give me a year to use it. So I told them that I would never buy from them again if they did not honor the coupon and they said sorry, It is expired and we can not honor it. So I wrote back and said fine, you just lost a good customer. Now this coupon was clearly marked that is expired two months from the date of issue, so it is my fault, but considering that I called them on it and I have placed many orders from them, that they would have issued me a new coupon or something, I mean is a coupon worth losing a customer that buys from your site on a regular basis?, they seem to think not. It is not allot of money, like $50 bucks, but it is the point and when you are ridding a Banshee, every bit of money helps!! I would love to drop their name, but It is my fault for not reading the fine print, so I will keep it to myself. I will now only deal with Banshee HQ sponsors. But you have nobody to blame but yourself. The fact that YOU as the customer were given a coupon from the manufacture in good faith. Their way of saying "thank you for being so kind to us, here. Please take this gift". Then you turn it around and threaten to never do business with them again because you can't use it after it has expired? Sorry...that is just poor form and makes you look like an ass. Look at it from their point of view. No, they don't want to lose a customer over 50 bucks. But I am sure they wouldn't mind losing a customer whose loyalty is as easily swayed as yours. If you'll threaten and dump on them over something that is YOUR fault. Just imagine what they would have to go through if they did something that was their fault...
Koolguyson
I didn't read every response.. but loco, does the 530 chain help that much? ive been snapping 520's left and right, but I didnt think stepping up to a 530 would help much since they are all rated on tensile strength anyways and i could get a 520 in the same strenght. Have you ever checked into Ti parts? I was thinkin about ordering custom 38/17 Ti sprokets/chain from sidewinder. Anyone have experience with them? Tensile strength seems to be an advertising ploy. Initially I was with you. I was sponsored by Sidewinder and ran their "extreme" 17,000+lb chain. "Strongest chain on the market". Some of my friends were breaking the "titanium II" chain that had a tensile of 16,000. Shortly after we all went to 530 EK chains which had a tensile of 11500lb. The EK chain is by FAR the tougher chain, despite having a tensile of 5500lbs less. If you want to stick with 520 though instead of buying new 530 sprockets I still have a new extreme sidewider 17klb chain in the package if you're interested. overrevtricky
Many atv drag builders and some of Banshee HQ site sponsors use there sprockets. So one racer having a problem won't hurt them all at. I would like a hit of whatever your smokin, it must be bomb!! In a tight community like this, word spreads, and fast. People work too hard for their money to take a risk with a business like that after loco's story.
