Motoman991
X2. My 07 YFZ was very fast and it could put the power to the ground, but i think its best asset was the weight. And yes the Predaturd blows. Experience will be the deciding factor here, i think. Go on a diet.

lykins89shee
If you are able to race on the road. Banshees are hard to beat when they get traction.
sapient
I was wondering this also. My friend has a Raptor 700r with a stage 2 cam, Curtis Sparks exhaust, power commander, high comp piston... the thing is a fucking animal. I'm in the process of building a banshee, 72mm big bore, Kennedy Port and Polish, 34mm carbs, +4 timing, fmf fatty golds... supposed to have around 75hp when its finished. So am I going to be able to smoke his ass or will it be a close run?
dajogejr
75 HP out of stock cylinders and Fatty Pipes...that ought to be one healthy running motor...I'd like to see it! Honestly, run him. Both bikes have advantages and disadvantages. Weight, gearing, surface and rider ability (as well as tuning) all come into play. No way to say... sapient
Not running yet, lol.... just what i was told. Why would it matter whether they're stock cylinders or not? a 72mm bore is a 72mm bore, right?

Take a 350 cub and a stock 350, for example... BTW, your mods seem like they should handle that Rappy no problem (especially if the person porting knows what they're doing). Will be up to the rider, though.

So am I going to be able to smoke his ass or will it be a close run? It really depends on what the motor work is. If he has a good port job to go with the hi comp piston and the sparks is a big core model you may need a longer drag to get him. Ive seen stock bore bikes at about 80 horses but if those are all of his mods you should be able to beat him with your build.
Jereme6655
ive yet to run mine....but im waitin for it. but honestly the way i look at it is even if i don't beat a modded craptor.....hell..it'll still be a damn decent run. OHH and wait.....I made you kinda worried you wouldn't win.....and i only have HALF the size motor.
SLORYDER
Race 'em on the road. Refuse to race anywhere else. Get her ported and make sure your tires aer good and low pressure and you should spank 'em.

Budget"shee"
I have a 08 yfz 450 with pipes ron woods intake gytr jet kit and geared front to 12t sprocket. I have raced a couple banshees at the dunes including my own and have smoked a bunch of them. But around here most of the people who go duning dont know about gearing for the sand. I take my wife out of the gate on her shee but she can run me down and its close at the end. I have hers geared at 13t front and 41t rear. Im also 230 where as she is about 130.
