When you guys make statements like this, you need to clarify if your saying Ricky Stator, or Rick's motosport electrics. They are two entirely different companies with different made products. I dont need your opinion on a company that you read about somewhere else. I need to know what stator you run and your opinion of it.
HectortheHut
I've heard nothing but bad news about aftermarket stators. Why is that? I was talking with my local shop guy and he said that for most bikes, he'd just run an aftermarket stator and deal with whatever issues came up, but if he was building a race bike he would only go with an OE stator. NickisGod
my RM 200w stator just ate shit, and so did the one for my zilla. i got two pieces of scrap copper maybe ill be able to buy some root beer if i return it to the scrap yard. i thought rm was a safe alternative to ricky stator because they were canadian, but that dosnt mean they were manufactured there. Snopczynski
rm and ricky stator use the same distributor.
No Limit Powersports
We have used ricky stator, ricks motorsport, moose. and oem. They all have failed but the OEM is by far the most reliable and consistent.
