blowit
My son is finally getting to that point that I need to get him some more go. Started with the a China 90. I am considering a Scrambler 90 but will admit that Polaris is not my first pick. Any other thoughts for a good performing platform? Prefer 2 stroke but not fixed on that, prefer disc brakes, manual trans would be a huge plus but.... Decent suspension and parts availability are at the top so the Polaris is a strong candidate. andrew3160
I have a buddy that just rebuilt a 2000 blaster 200cc two stroke. New crank, pistons, bore, seals, bearings, reeds, and a few others that we cleaneed up. We also changed the the rear brakeover from cable to a full hydrolic banshee brake set up. Might be worth considering and could be a solid bike for him to ride for a while. I would have to check and see if he is willing to sell, but I am pretty sure he realizes he is to big for it after our last trip to the dunes. I want to make sure and keep him on something that is the right size so he can hone his riding skills easier.

Damn that is nice, Can't wait for my boy to move up to a 90, he's still trying to master his Suzuki 50cc but then again he's only 3, lol. bode1
My kid had an LT80 I know it doesn't fit all your wishes, but that was a fun little bike that would haul my fat ass around. We got a pull starter and a light through the aftermarket. Too bad it's an automatic. Bought it used and it had not been babied, we beat it pretty hard too. it held up well. Yeah, I can make an LT80 cook but their down fall is the integral trans/swingarm that is known to break. They also have very poor geometry. Actually, I think most do but he will just have to deal with it until he is older....

blowit
Dinli, Kasea, Eton, Polaris...all the same. I think I need a road map on some of these off brands. I don't keep track of who all is the same. I can never find any Denli or Kasea stuff anywhere. The Polaris seems to be the only one that is half way abundant. Pappa Kaneda
The Apex MXR 90 is also an option. There are tons of options, just have to look.
