VegasJeff Posted April 18, 2010 Report Share Posted April 18, 2010 I just started having some problems with the override yesterday and wanted to see what you guys think before I tear it down. the tranny shifts super smooth with no noises and just recently it wont stay in 4th gear,it will automatically shift to 5th or 3rd all by its self. it's a duneable and I only hill shoot and shift it like a regular override(shift down only when stopped) it has 2 quarts of ATF and changed on a regular basis. thanks jeff. How did the shift forks look when you put it in...and are you sure you put the right spring in the right location on the fork shaft? Is the shifter accentric adjusted properly? I'm not sure if I left that in or not when I changed it out.I was thinking that the other day,cause when it was a dune bike it had the shift pro and the modded shaft from fast.You thinking it's not enough pressure holding it in from that bearing? He PM'd me the other day with this: (I know he won't mind me sending this to you..) Just wanting to shoot you a message. I got rid of my shift pro shift kit and install the stock parts.
