cheeta Posted April 16, 2010 Report Share Posted April 16, 2010 im gonna go out and put a crank and pistons in my motor does anyone have any last minute tips or common mistakes that people make? and the 7 seals that come with my crank are 2 crank seals, kickstart seal, shifter seal, clutch arm seal, sprocket seal and whats the wierd looking thick seal for? bbcmudtruck Posted April 16, 2010 Report Share Posted April 16, 2010 Make sure you install your crank seals the correct way, don't put them in backwards. Then when your done, perform a leak down test to make sure everything sealed up the way it should. You would be dam surprised on how many motors fail the leak down test.
