shee2000 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 ok i just replaced the plugs n wires on my truck start it up it idles from 500 to 1000 rpm and then will die out the old plugs were at 50 thou i gaped the new ones at 35 spec so i replaced my map sensor still does it ,went on to vacume lines still does it ,then replaced the cap because the old one had a few loose nipples on it still does it any suddestions Quote
AKheathen Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 clean out your iac and pcv valves, and put a meter on the tps, and slowly move the throttle open/close near idle, and see if the ohms read smoothly with the moovements, or jump around. also, put a fuel pressure gauge on it. was this something that happened after tune-up, or did you do the tune-up because it's acting like this?
