Fastassbanshee96
Has anyone used the boss noss nitrous system on a banshee. I've been looking into getting a 20hp kit and am wondering exactly how safe it is for the motor and if anyone knows what is recommended to have done to the bike to run it. I don't have much done to my shee. I'm bored .40 over coolhead with 19cc domes stock carbs with air box removed. And I'm currently trying to get a 4mil crank. I also have a small amount of port work done. I don't really need to have it, I just really like the idea of the go baby go button. Lol. Any information would be great. Thanks. esterelbanshee
A good buddy of mine installed a 20hp nitrous shot on his modified Jetski and nobody was able to hang on for more than 3 seconds without getting tossed. Do it.
bansheesandrider
I would think that a welded crank would be needed, seeing as how most bikes need that without nitrous.

Is there any way to tell if the crank is welded without pulling the case apart. I bought mine off a friend and he doesn't remember what all was done to it. It has aftermarket rods cause it has the oiling slots in it but don't know if it was welded.

Pretty sure you're gonna have to split it and inspect to tell if its welded. Don't think there is any other way to know for sure. Prolly be a good idea to upgrade bearings on it as well if your gonna go that route with NO2. Personally I would just build a solid 4 mil with supporting intake and exhaust. I think you would have a much more reliable motor. Just my 2 cents. SP

Just need to get my money together and I'm waiting on this guy to pull it out of his motor. He's charging me 265 shipped. I think it's a good deal. I won't be useing the nitrous much just in drags when I'm racing someone that can beat me on motor alone. I'm going to hide the bottle and shit so no one will really know what hit um. And just to be able to say my shee has nitrous.
