I PUT MINE BEHIND THE LEFT FENDER JUST TAKE OFF PLASTIC REMOVE GAS TANK TAKE SWITCH OUT WITH GAS TANK OUT THERE WILL BE THAT PEACE OF PLASTIC THAT CONNECTS TO THE FRONT PLASTIC RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU'RE KNEE IF YOU WHERE SITTING ON IT DRILL A HOLE PUT A WASHER AROUND OUTSIDE OF SWITCH AND PUT NUT ON SWITCH THAT HELD IT ON THE STOCK PLASTIC LOCATION AND YOU'RE DONE . spurdy Posted April 21, 2010 Report Share Posted April 21, 2010 I relocated mine to the trash as well. Just a pain in the ass and one more thing to rule out if it doesn't start. We never used the keys for security anyway. Not much use when you can just push them away IMO. We chain them up when riding also. The brake disc locks are a good idea as well. JMO.
