James-26
What does the Milled head do for the banshee? Would I be better off going with a Coolhead VS's a Milled head?
dco3100
What does the Milled head do for the banshee? Would I be better off going with a Coolhead VS's a Milled head? when you mill the head, it reduces tge volume inside of the dome area above the piston at TDC(top dead center) The reduced volume increases the compression in the chamber, this providing you with what I've noticed is better low in power/ torque as well as a snappier power-band. I went with the milled head vs the cool head because it provides the same results and you keep that "classic" stock look. When ppl see a cool head on a bike they automatically assume partial to major motor work has been done. An advantage of going with the cool head is the ability to change the domes inside, providing even more compression, bit when u go too high you have to run race fuel. Let me know if you want it, pics comin tonight
