jimp1967
I was riding my Banshee yesterday and hauling A** down a trail and hit a small water puddle and it started reving up by its self for about 2 seconds or so. I have TORS delete, pod filters with outerwears. It did it twice but both times it's when I blew through a little water and splashed a little water. I know water is a no no with the pods so I for the most part slowed down real slow if I had to go through a small puddle. After it reved up I looked down and there was a few water droplets on my filters. Is the water droplets on the filters causing this? or is the water hitting something else causing it? bansheesandrider
Normally, hiting water will cause it to die out if you suck enough in. If you suck to much, it will hydrolock the engine, causing damage to the rods, pistons, cylinders, head and possibly evev the crank and cases. 3lue by u
I just had the same thing happen and it eventually cleared up. Just got some dirt or grit in the carbs and caused them to stick wide open. Gonna clean em out today and look into an airbox lid or outerwears...
