DAN SCOTT Posted March 24, 2010 Report Share Posted March 24, 2010 Hey guys ive got a 2000 model shee just replaced the fly wheel and stator . i pulled the cover off after about 2 tanks of fuel to inpect, ive only been rideing it on pavement I noticed that comeing out of the center of the fly wheel where the rivets are there is some black dust?? not sure what this is from. the inside of the cover is clean and the gasket isnt cracked or broken.. any ideas of what this might be? just had to replace the stator again for the third time the last one burnt in half (all the stators that whent bad was ricky stators) now back with oem stator and fly wheel would like to hear what you guys have to say thanks..
