ok guys so im doing my first rebuild after my first banshee i bought was junk and put 2gther half assed (lesson learned ) after it was stolen fromprevious owner(yes bought it off after police returned to owner). but i have upgrade to a 2005 frame now i have toomey t5 pipes but the silencers are 2 diff pipes the look like fmf silencers i will get pics once my blackberry starts working correctly which brings me to my question. i talked to toomey and for silencers it will cost me $160 and shipping now i have found a set of chrome fmf fattys with power cores 2 silencers for $185 great condition. the condition of my t5 pipes are old lookin they were painted black but i do have black paint for engines so i can repaint them flat black. what are your opinions on my options thanks in advance. o and i ride trails mostly and coal hills as i live in north eastern PA, and this is a very low budget rebuild (didnt help with looseing my wallet yesterday with 300 in cash and all my ids and cards ugggg)

Run the Toomeys dude you'll love em. I ride dunes with hillclimbs and trails and I gotta say they're a great all around pipe, awesome midrange with just enough low end to not stall it, and amazing top end to pull through those hillclimbs in the sand. For you riding coal hills and what not I would say they're awesome for that type of riding and they work well on trails also. Hope that helps!

Also you won't feel as bad if you scratch the Toomeys cuz you can just repaint em (that's what I do to mine too) instead of getting pissed if the chrome starts flaking off on the Fatties.

yea i was thinking the same thing and since the new frame is black it will proab look pretty cool. im gonna get the motor done first cause i can still use these fmf exhaust for now and then ordey the tommeys exhaust to match the pipes after its runnin. this way i can brake the motor in.
