RedStrapperRacing
I've used AMSOIL ATF in our KTM minis for years - the stuff holds up great - before we had used valvoline dexmerc with 2oz of two2cool. Even though they are "supposed" to have the same chemical properties the AMSOIL held up 10x better and always still looked brand new when changing it out. We had much less wear on the shoes and clutch drum and didnt have to re-stack the clutches as often either. They would hit harder and more consistant comming off of the starting gate - which leads to more hole shots. I've been running 10w30 in my Shee tranny since 06' - I'm going to change it out this weekend with AMSOIL ATF and see how it works - I figure it it can handle the heat and pressure of those tiny motors running at near 14,000 RPM the Banshee tranny shouldnt have any issues..... wacko2000
I run ATF in my bike. Im having shifting problems, but i believe my problems go deeper than the oil. I am curious/interested in the klotz though. Where are you guys buying it from, and how much is it? thanks
