MudSlinger09 Posted March 17, 2010 Report Share Posted March 17, 2010 so i havent had a banshee in like 5 years now , is it worth it to build another one in 2010 still ? i found a frame locally for 100 bucks . are all the other bikes (450s ) so far advanced that a banshee is just useless? whats the deal on these now. I was thinking along the same line as you are and picked up a badly beaten 87' figuring I would just take the winter to rebuild it on the cheap. I now have about $2500.00 rapped up in the build, and that doesn't account for my time. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the tear down and rebuild process but I could have purchased a 2000 or 2001 with the same bolt on mods for around $2000.00. Just hated to see the old 87' rooten away.
