Hi,

Just wondering if anobody on this site has used the alba pro elite steering stabilizer? and if anyone has a pick on how it would be installed?

I'm thinking of buying one but cannot find any reviews. I know they say all the stick type stabilizers are the same, but just wondering if anyone has used this one before?

And more or less what is the life line on these before a rebuilt?

Thats the exact one i picked up straight from Alba's booth at sand fest 2 years ago for 60 bux brand new, when every vendor sells all there stuff dirt cheap out on the sand. Its the rebuildable 7 click one also.

Only pipes this style cant be used with is stock or PT's as it sticks back under the pipes and mounts to the stem and then the frame. You can adjust it while riding also, but ive found that setting 4 or 5 is the best.

Coming up the 3rd season and is still good.

Couple things you want to do is RED lock tight ALL the bolts AFTER you find exactly where it needs to be and you can turn the tires lock to lock without it hitting anything.

Get the quad off the ground when you stick it on also so you know the suspension is fully extended + its easier to check to see if its going to hit anything if you dont have it in right.

Also where it mounts to the frame and stem, i put a piece of black tape around them so it don't scratch if it moves on you when your getting it into place and then RED lock tight everything real Tight.

When totally done, check in the air lock to lock and on the ground lock to lock with the susp compressed and fully extended to make sure it dont hit anything

Check the bolts after the first ride or 2 and see if they need a quick tighten.
