I was not sure where to post this but, I have pod filters and just got my outterwears in but I notice this nub coming off the frame on both sides and its rubbing on my filter. Is this where the stock pipes mounted or maybe part of the airbox, Have you guys just shaved these off or left them.? thanks

Pics would help, its most likely from the airbox, I don't think its too big of a deal unless they vibrate up and down to cut a whole in them, also, if your not gonna run an airbox, and the tabs are from the airbox, cut 'em off :D

Yeah, those are for where the front of the air box sits. I cut mine off flush also. You can also lightly zip tie your pods together so they dont rub against the stingers also and burn over time.

also to stop the pipes from burning a hole in my new outterwears whats the pipe rap some of you use and where do you get?

Cascade carry's some. But all you need to do is like i said and zip tie your filters together lightly.

OR you can just go to any auto parts store and get some header wrap. Stuff is real cheap and takes seconds to put on.

I think I'll try the header wrap, I know it holds water but the trails I ride are mostly sandy dirt so I'll be good, I just thought zip ties might wear threw. thanks man
