WINDYCITYJOHN400
I'm running on the sand in Silver Lake Michigan with my 472 4mill power valved cheetah with 35PWK carbs and CPI Big Bore In-Frames. I'm running a CEL needle 50 pilots with a 148/145 mains. I'm going fully ported this year so that jetting will change. That jetting last year was all about NOT having problems. Trinity sends out crap combo's. They have no clue about dome shape. They only understand that "Less cc's in the dome = More compression" I've met alot of people who had problems with the dome shape that Trinity sent. If you continue to have issues with this motor, be sure to get some custom cut domes from a top builder. I'd recommend Tim at TITAN RACING. He solved all the problems I had with my Trinity motor with a simple dome change.

As far as the pilots, go to Duncan Racing's web site and look in the tech section then look under two stroke tuning and they have a great explanation for dialing in your pilot jets. www.duncanracing.com

WINDYCITYJOHN400
I keep this in my favorites. Comes in handy when talking terms and understanding the "How's" and "Why's". http://www.keihin-us.com/am/_media/pdf/slide_valve.pdf

Boston
airstrikers have hoses that go over the top of the carb.

WINDYCITYJOHN400
airstrikers have hoses that go over the top of the carb. No, Air strikers have a small fin like set of channles at the 6 O'clock position in the mouth of the carb that lines up with the jets. This gives a stronger air pulse over the jets when your at part throttle. You can run the hoses over the top of either carbs.
